Fire Extinguisher Servicing and Maintenance

Regular servicing and maintenance of your fire extinguishers is not only a legal requirement but also an essential part of your fire safety strategy in keeping you, your staff and your customers safe while in your premises. You can rest assured knowing that one of our experienced engineers will service your equipment on site in accordance with British Standard BS 5306 part 3 2009.

​​​​​​​Fire extinguishers in commercial or public premises must be visually inspected on a monthly basis by the responsible person to check for any signs of damage, misuse or corrosion. They must be serviced to BS 5306: part 3 2009 on an annual basis.

Red and White Fire Protection can service and maintain any type, model or make of extinguisher and carry all relevant spares required to do so at the time of service visit. Our service pricing is clear and simple…We wont charge you for all consumable spare parts like many other companies, especially the so called market leaders!

Our service price per extinguisher will be the total price including all consumable parts required. Discharge Testing for foam and water extinguishers would be additional if required but full details would be given before any additional work is carried out.

Our experienced engineers will advise and explain exactly what is needed and can supply directly from our well stocked vans whilst at site to make sure our customers are covered instantly.

C02 and powder extinguishers due their 10 and 5 year test respectively would be recommended to be replaced with either new or refurbished equipment as the physical testing required is unable to be completed at time of service due to its complex nature.

We also offer our customers the reassurance of a 5 year service forecast after our first visit. We can supply a detailed report as to what each service would amount to each year, assuming no damage or misuse occurs between each visit. If any replacements are due in this period they will be identified and made apparent in the 5 year service forecast so our customers will not be facing any unexpected charges or replacement equipment.
